The obverse depicted a wreath of ears of corn, roses and laurel twigs tied with a ribbon in the middle. In the center of the coin is the nominal value of 5 leva and below is the year of issue - 1885.
The reverse side depicted Bulgaria coat of arms after 1880 year. In the outer circle of the coin has an inscription “Unity renders power”.
