The obverse in the center of the coin depicted the nominal value of 1 lev and the year of issue - 1992. On the left of the nominal is depicted fish, on the right sun.
The reverse side depicted the Madara Rider. In the outer circle of the coin has an inscriptions “Republic of Bulgaria”.
