The obverse depicted two wheat ears. In the middle of the coin is the nominal value of 2 leva. In the outer circle of the coin has an inscription “Peoples Republic of Bulgaria” and the year of issue – 1969.
The reverse side depicted the monument of the Soviet soldier Alyosha, situed in Plovdiv. On both sides are the years „9 IX 1969” and „9 IX 1944”. In the outer circle of the coin has an inscription “25 years since the socialist revolution”.
