The obverse is the emblem of the BNB and the year of her establishment - 1879. In the circle are inscribed “Bulgarian National Bank” and the year of issue - 2007 and the nominal value of 5 leva.
The reverse side depicts Bulgarian carpet. In the outer circle of the coin has inscriptions “Hues of nature” and “Carpet making”.
